Air Fryer Lasagna Frita
This recipe is a family favorite! it was simple to make and very similar to the Olive Garden appetizer we love.
Air Fryer Lasagna Frita
Yield: 2-3
Ingredients
- 1 Box Lasagna Noodles
- 1 Cup Marinara
- 1 Cup Alfredo Sauce
- 1 bag 5 Cheese Italian Blend Shredded Cheese
- 16 oz. Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
Assemble your Lasagna rolls.
- Cook lasagna noodles until al dente then drain.
- Mix together cheeses, 1 egg, and Italian seasoning.
- Place cooked noodles on a plate or flat surface
- Place 3 tbsp of mixture on top of the noodle and roll up.
- Add rolled noodles in a dish with parchment paper. Freeze for at least 2 hours.
Cooking Lasagna Rolls
- Toast bread crumbs in olive oil, stirring frequently so they done burn.
- Combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and set aside
- Dip frozen rollups into beaten egg and then into breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 400.
- Place 4-5 rollups in at one time, Spray with cooking spray. Cook for 8 minutes, Flip, spray the other side and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes.
- Serve over marinara and top with alfredo sauce.
