Italian Grinder Sliders

The lettuce mixture paired with these meats made the perfect sandwich for game day!

Ingredients

  • Hawiian Rolls- butter flavored
  • 3 cups shredded lettuce.
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 7 large slices of salami
  • 7 large slices of pepperoni
  • 4 oz sliced smoked ham.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced.
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Provolone cheese, 6 slices
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana peppers
  • 4 tbsp submarine dressing

Instructions

Salad topping
  1. In a medium bowl, combine Shredded lettuce red onion, dill pickles, banana peppers mayo, and submarine dressing.
  2. set aside, or place in refrigerator until final assembly.

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Slice Hawiian rolls in long ways to create a top and bottom. do not separate individual rolls.
  3. Spread 2 tbsp mayo onto the bottom section of the rolls and bake for 5 minutes.
  4. Chop ham, salami, and pepperoni into bite sized piece and cook in skillet over medium heat
  5. Place provolone cheese slices on bottom buns
  6. Then, add meat mixture and place the top bun on.
  7. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning and brush on top of buns
  8. place back in oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cheese melted.
  9. Remove from oven and spread lettuce mixture on top of meat and replace top bun.
  10. cut and serve.
