Grandbob’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits
A homemade twist on a favorite! These biscuits are so good… you won’t be able to eat just one!
Grandbob's Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Ingredients
- 3.5 cups Southern Biscuit Mix, with the golden shortening flakes
- 1.5 cups whole buttermilk
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- sprinkle of salt, pepper, garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chopped chives
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add flour and shredded cheese.
- Add buttermilk. ONLY stir to combine. Do not overmix.
- Place on a baking sheet using a spoon or ice cream scoop, 2 inches apart.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until the tops of biscuits begin to brown slightly.
- While biscuits are baking, combine remaining ingredients. Brush over the tops of baked biscuits. Serve warm!
