Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

I was highly impressed with this bang bang chicken. Just enough heat from the sauce and the chicken was perfectly cooked.

Ingredients

Chicken
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless breast
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tsp each of paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper.
  • Wooden skewers (pre-soaked for 10 mins)
Sauce
  • ¾ cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tsp siracha
  • 2 tbsp honey.

Instructions

sauce
  1. Mix mayo, Thai chili sauce, siracha, and honey.
  2. Divide into two bowls equally.
Chicken
  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Mix with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Thread 6-7 chicken pieces onto each skewer.
  4. Brush with half the sauce. *do not use this sauce for the cooked chicken, your other bowl of sauce will be used for the cooked chicken.
  5. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, rotating halfway.
  6. Ensure internal temp is 165°F.
  7. Brush cooked skewers with remaining sauce. Cool for 2-3 mins and serve.
