Ingredients

Pastry and Filling
  • 1 Box Puff Pastry (2 sheets)
  • FILLING
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 egg
Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
Glaze
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Let the puff pastry thaw at room temp for at least 30 minutes to avoid cracking. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay puff pastry on a sheet and cut into 6 equal rectangles.
  3. Prepare fillings in 2 separate bowls. Add 2-3 tbsp of each filling, starting with pumpkin, then adding cream cheese on top...to each rectangle. Brush edges with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. While the pastries are baking, prepare the glaze. Let cool slightly before adding glaze drizzle.
